Escape Sequence
A snake puzzle game for iPhone
Tap a bug and it slides off the board along its own body, as long as its lane is clear. Levels are built backwards from the solution, so every one can be solved.
How it plays
- Bodies block lanes, so the puzzle is working out which bug has to move first.
- Tapping a bug whose lane is blocked counts as an error. Three errors and the level fails. There is no undo and no ad to continue.
Twelve regions
- From python_meadow, where the bugs are gentle, through rust_belt, haskell_heights and kernel_caverns, down to the endless assembly_abyss. Each region brings new colours, denser boards and longer, more tangled snakes.
- Every region ends with a picture level, where the snakes form a shape such as a heart, a gear, a skull or an atom.
Endless levels and hints
- The levels keep going for as long as you play.
- You can play with one thumb, there's no timer, and hints are there if you want them.
