Escape Sequence is a snake puzzle game made by Had Games. Tap a bug and it slithers off the board — if the lane is clear.

Common questions

I'm out of lives.

Watch a short rewarded ad for +1 life — you can do this as many times as you like. Or buy Unlimited Lives once from Settings and never run out again.

Does my progress sync between devices?

Yes. Your save is backed up automatically to iCloud using your Apple ID — no account, no sign-up. Install Escape Sequence on another device signed into the same Apple ID and your level, hints, and purchases pick up where they left off. (Requires iCloud enabled for Escape Sequence in Settings.)

My progress is gone.

Reinstall the app on a device signed into your Apple ID and the iCloud backup restores automatically. If it doesn't, email us before starting over.

I bought Unlimited Lives / Remove Ads / a hint pack and it's not showing up.

Purchases restore automatically on first launch. If something's missing, open Settings and tap restore purchases. If it still doesn't take, email us with the date of purchase.

How do hints work?

You start with 3 free hints. Earn more by watching a rewarded ad (+1) or buying the 10-hint pack. A hint always points at a bug that's currently safe to tap.

Are the ads forced?

No. Rewarded videos (for an extra life or a hint) are always your choice, and there are no full-screen ads between levels — those were removed. The only ad you'll see uninvited is a banner under the board, and it goes away for good with the Remove Ads purchase.

I'm in the UK or the EU and want to change my ad consent.

Open Settings and tap privacy options to reopen the consent form and change your answer.
