Common questions
Does the game keep earning while it's closed?
Yes. Your pieces keep making snowflakes for up to two hours while the app is
closed. Each level of the Long Winter upgrade in the Workshop adds two more
hours.
What do I keep when I start a New Winter?
Your holiday spirit, your Workshop upgrades and your collection record. Your
snowflakes, pieces and globe progress reset.
Does my progress sync between devices?
Yes, through iCloud, with no account to create. Install the game on another
device signed in to the same Apple ID and your save comes across. iCloud
needs to be turned on for Pocket Snow Globe in Settings.
My progress is gone.
Reinstall the game on a device signed in to your Apple ID and your iCloud
save restores automatically. If your device and iCloud have different saves,
the game keeps the one with more progress. If your save doesn't come back,
email us before starting over.
I bought the Golden Snow Shaker but don't have it.
Go to Menu → Settings → Restore purchases, or tap Restore in the
shop. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID, so it works on any device
signed in to that account. If it still doesn't show up, close the app
completely and reopen it, and email us if that doesn't fix it.
The falling snow bothers me.
Turn on Menu → Settings → Reduce motion. The snow and the scene stop
moving, and nothing else in the game changes.
Can I make it snow all the time?
Yes. Turn on Menu → Settings → Always snowing and choose light or
heavy snow. While it's on, tapping no longer changes the snowfall.
I'm in the UK or the EU and want to change my privacy choices.
Menu → Settings → Privacy options opens Google's consent form again.
Your new choice applies right away.
I don't want personalized ads.
Decline Apple's tracking prompt, or turn tracking off later in iOS
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You'll see the same
optional ads, but they won't be personalized.
