Common questions

Does the tavern earn while the app is closed?

Yes — up to two hours banks automatically at a reduced rate, and a summary greets you when you come back. An optional rewarded ad doubles that haul if you want it.

What carries over through an Echo Dive?

Your collection, Renown, Gems, Echoes, Echo perks, Ascendant gear and your Trophy Shelf all stay. Floors, gold, the basement and the tavern rooms reset — that's the trade you're making for the Echoes.

Does my progress sync between devices?

Yes. Your save is backed up automatically to iCloud using your Apple ID — no account, no sign-up. Install Idle Tavern on another device signed into the same Apple ID and your tavern picks up where it left off. (Requires iCloud enabled for Idle Tavern in Settings.)

My progress is gone.

Reinstall the app on a device signed into your Apple ID and the iCloud backup restores automatically. If it doesn't, email us before starting over.

I bought something and it didn't arrive / I'm on a new device.

Open Settings inside the game and tap Restore Purchases. Permanent 2× Income re-applies itself; if it still doesn't show, email us with the date of purchase.

Are there forced ads?

No. Every ad in the game is opt-in — you tap a button to watch one for a reward, and nothing interrupts play.

I'm in the UK or the EU and want to change my ad consent.

Open Settings inside the game and tap Privacy options to reopen the consent form and change your answer.

The tour didn't make sense / I want to see it again.

Settings → How to play replays the first-run tour at any time.
