Privacy Policy — Last Light

This policy covers Last Light, an idle game by Had Games, and the data it handles.

What we collect

Last Light has no accounts and no servers of our own. Your swarm, Blueprint Data and Atlas are stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on, a copy is also stored in your own iCloud account so you can restore it on a new device. We can't access that copy.

Advertising

The game shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information from your device, including its advertising identifier, IP address and general usage data. The game shows Apple's tracking prompt before any of this happens:

• If you allow tracking, ads may be personalized using your advertising identifier.
• If you decline, ads are not personalized and no cross-app identifier is used.

The game works the same either way. Google describes how it handles this data in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Rewarded ads are always optional. The banner can be removed permanently with a one-time purchase.

In the UK and the European Economic Area, Google's consent form appears before any ads are requested. You can change your answer at any time from inside the game.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to see how the game is used: how many people play, which screens they open, how far they get, and their country, which is worked out from the IP address. We do not store IP addresses ourselves. The data is tied to an identifier created for this app only. It is not your name, email address, Apple ID or advertising identifier, and we do not combine it with anything that identifies you.

We only look at totals, such as how many players reached their second star.

In the UK and the European Economic Area, analytics stays off until you answer Google's consent form, and stays off if you decline. Apple's tracking prompt only covers advertising identifiers, so analytics asks for consent separately. Google describes how it handles this data in Google's Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details.

Children

Last Light is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
